Das 1746-A13 SLC 500 E/A-Chassis von Allen-Bradley ist ein modulares Chassis, das SLC 500-Prozessoren und E/A-Module aufnimmt und ein eigenes Netzteil benötigt, das auf der linken Seite des Chassis montiert ist.

Der 1746-A13 verfügt über maximal 13 Gehäusesteckplätze, in die beliebige 13 SLC 500-E/A-Module passen, und er verfügt über eine eigene Stromquelle, die 5,1 V DC bei 10 A und 24 V DC bei 2,88 A Backplane-Strom für jeden Prozessor liefern kann oder E/A-Module, die die Steckplätze des 1746-A13 füllen.
